Free Dog Treat Recipes
The following little ginger cookie can be cut into shapes and given as a gift to dog-owning friends and family. Don’t be surprised if you get lots of requests for more once you start. The cookies are good for soothing upset tummies or warding off car sickness.
Shaped Ginger Doggie Digestive Cookies
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 egg, well beaten
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp garlic salt, 1 tablespoon grated ginger, ¼ cup fresh chopped parsley
1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 cup water
6 tablespoons gravy
Baby food meat
Mix all ingredients well. Roll out on a floured board about 1/2″ thick. Cut out cookie shapes with floured cookie cutters. Bake the cookies at 350F for 25-30 minutes. Cool, leaving them in the oven to dry. Cookies should be hard. Store the cookies in an airtight container.
